Dr. Lidia Zylowska

Dr. Lidia Zylowska

Specialization: ADHD and Mindfulness-based therapies

Lidia Zylowska MD is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and a faculty member of the University of Minnesota Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing. She is an internationally recognized expert in adult ADHD and mindfulness-based therapies. Her research work pioneered the application of mindfulness in ADHD, developed the Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs) for ADHD program, and helped co-found the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. Her work has been featured in ADDitudes Magazine, Time Magazine, Boston Globe and New York Times. Dr. Zylowska is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine, and the author of two books, The Mindfulness Prescription for Adult ADHD and Mindfulness for Adult ADHD – A Clinicians Guide.

Dr. Russell DuBois

Specialization: Psychological testing, Pediatric & Behavioral Health Psychology, Measurement-Based Care (MBC)

Dr. Russell DuBois, Ph.D., is a distinguished leader in behavioral health and currently serves as Chief Clinical Officer at BetterSleep. He is a psychologist with advanced clinical and research training from leading academic institutions, including Northeastern University, Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard University, and Hasbro Children’s Hospital at Brown University. Dr. DuBois has deep expertise in clinical data science, implementation of evidence-based practice, and behavioral health models across the lifespan. He is a leader in clinical measurement including co-authoring with the American Psychological Association the first Professional Practice Guidelines for Measurement-Based Care for use in clinical psychology and has led national trainings on clinical measurement, quality improvement, and health outcomes optimization. His scholarly work includes numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on precision mental healthcare and data science applications for the promotion of biopsychosocial health and wellness.

Dr. Aric Prather

Dr. Aric Prather

Specialization: Behavioral Sleep Medicine Psychology, Clinical Psychology

Aric A. Prather, PhD, is a sleep scientist, Professor, and the Pritzker Family Fund Endowed Chair in Health and Community in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Prather is a licensed clinical psychologist who directs the UCSF Behavioral Sleep Medicine Research program and helps lead the UCSF Insomnia Clinic, where he treats patients with insomnia and circadian rhythm disorders using cognitive behavioral therapy. Dr. Prather has published more than 130 scientific papers, and his research has been continually supported by the NIH. Dr. Prather’s work is routinely covered by The New York Times, The Atlantic, and NPR. He is also the author of The Sleep Prescription: 7 Days to Unlocking Your Best Rest (Penguin Life), which distills empirically based strategies for improving sleep to ensure that all get the rest they deserve. 

Dr. Shelby Harris

Dr. Shelby Harris

Specialization: Clinical Psychology, Behavioral Sleep Medicine (BSM), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Shelby Harris PsyD, DBSM is a clinical psychologist and sleep specialist in private practice in NY. She is board certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine and treats a wide variety of sleep, anxiety and depression issues using evidence-based, non-medication treatments. Her self-help book The Women’s Guide to Overcoming Insomnia was published in 2019 by W.W. Norton Books. Dr. Harris holds an academic appointment as Clinical Associate Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Neurology and Psychiatry. Before going into private practice she was the longstanding director of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program at the Sleep-Wake Disorders Center at Montefiore Medical Center in NYC.

Dr Reut Gruber

Dr Reut Gruber

Specialization: Sleep and neurodevelopmental conditions

Reut Gruber, PhD, is a clinical child psychologist and pediatric sleep expert. Her research at the Attention, Behaviour and Sleep Laboratory is focused on investigating the association between sleep and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), academic performance, and mental health. Dr. Gruber seeks to use the knowledge gained from her research to create evidence-based tools for pediatricians, psychologists, and schools to promote children’s sleep health. She has also created the first school-based programs aimed at improving children’s physical and mental health and academic performance by extending their sleep.
