How Does it Work?

  2. Go to the tab “More”
  3. Click “SleepMove”
  4. Chose one of the following exercises:
    • Intro to SleepMoves: Unwind quickly before bed.
    • Get Cozy for Sleep: Move towards a deeper state of rest during the colder months.
    • Fall Asleep Together: Enjoy unwinding as a couple with this relaxation routine.
    • Travel & Rest: Overcome jet-lag and homesickness.
    • Cool Down for the Night: Let go of the built-up energy from the day.
    • Create Balance: Find your balance and recenter yourself.
    • Nurture Self-Love: Nurture a sense of self-love.
    • Release Tension: Melt away the day’s stress.

Benefits of SleepMoves Routine

Data has shown that stretching before bed can offer a whole host of benefits, including a reduction in muscle cramping, improved relaxation, and higher quality sleep. On the other hand, extraneous exercises that increase your heart rate will have a negative effect on your ability to fall asleep.

The exercises included in SleepMoves are a good way to wind down before going to bed. Like yoga, it helps bring your nervous system into balance after a long day of tension and stress. When this balance occurs, the body can go from the hyper-alert “fight or flight” mode into the relaxed “rest and digest” state more effectively. By creating this balance between your active day and your restful evening, your body will fall asleep more easily.
